Busy busy

Man, if this is what it’s like to be an adult then I don’t think I’ll last very long. These past two weeks have been a complete blur. Every day has been filled with running errands and trying to get my fun in before I go full-time with @hand this Thursday. After then, I won’t be able to leave at 2 in the afternoon to go play golf or take the day off to go to the river. But I will finally be receiving a big boy paycheck :)

In preparation for this influx of money I’ve been looking for new neat things to spend it on. Just this past week when I was visiting my parents I signed up for a new wireless plan with Cingular. I’ve been very impressed with the service so far. Since I was signing up for a new plan I got a new Motorola Razr for next to nothing. Let me say it’s a very nice replacement for my 6 year old phone which was had been turning itself randomly for the past couple months. I’ve also finally got into the world of text messaging and am on track for going over my allotment this first month. I feel so hip.

The most stressful part of this last week is looking for a new truck. If buying a new car is this hard, I can’t imagine what it’s like buying a new house. I’ve been doing a lot of research and think I’m set on a new Dodge Ram. The picture below is pretty much what I’m wanting. The picture makes it look almost black, but it’s really a metallic grey color. I think it looks great in person smile

Slacker

The days have been flying by the past two weeks since finals and I haven’t really had a chance to write about any of it! I did actually graduate, here are some pictures to prove it:

Almost time

I think I’ve got some kind of sun related ailment, maybe heat exhaustion or something. We were at the river all day long today and now I’ve got this splitting headache. I can’t complain though, it was a fun day and totally worth it.

These past couple days after finals sure have flown by. I’ve been working, playing golf, swimming, and trying to prepare for my graduation. It’s in two days!! It’s incredible to think that the ceremony taking place on Saturday will officially mark the end of my 16 year education. About damn time! I’m very thankful to be graduating too, it seemed like I was pretty close to screwing it up this last semester. I really bombed my linear systems final and was stressing out about it, but managed to scrape by with a C in the class. What a pain in the ass that class was. It’s my own fault though. I thought it would be worthwhile to make it hard on myself and take engineering classes, when I could have just taken geology classes and learned about jewelry.

I need to get some sleep. Got a lot to do tomorrow…

Maaan…….

That Linear Systems final left a really bad taste in my mouth. It was 8 problems long, I left knowing I had wrong answers for 4 of them, and I wrote on the front of the test, “I’m a graduating CS major. I tried my best.” It’s an EE class, so I’m a little out of my element in there. I’d like to think that he doesn’t have the heart to fail me though. Still, I’m going to keep my fingers crossed.

Tomorrow is the big day!

I’ve got my last two, most difficult, finals tomorrow. Wish me luck!
